Winter is not quite over yet! The next week looks great for mountain snow

A sunny winter day of snowshoeing at Mt Rainier

A week ago it looked like winter was over…but now it looks like there should be another great week of skiing and snowshoeing for sure! (snowshoeing lasts well into spring and sometimes even summer, but still).

Right now the mountains are getting dumped on with a couple feet by tomorrow. Tomorrow looks like it will still be quite snowy, with Monday (President’s Day) and Tuesday cold with lots of sun.

It’s a great time to get another last hurrah of winter before spring is really on the way.

Make sure to check the weather and avalanche forecast before heading out! Have fun out there!
